Allow users to set up their own news feed

I have a website where different departments can write news/articles. We can call them clothes, shoes and jackets.

I'm looking for an extension (maybe two) where I can synchronize users from an Active Directory, and where the users can then log in to my Joomla site and choose which news they want to see in a feed on the front page.

So user 1 might only want to see clothes and shoes. User 2 will only see news about jackets etc. In addition, those who write the news must be able to choose that a news article is mandatory, so that it must be included in all feeds, regardless of what the users have chosen.

An extension that can synchronize users with my Active Directory seems that there are many options. But I simply can't find anything where a user can set up their own news feed. Any suggestions?

If we talk about the functionality, you can use core Joomla features and configure permissions and access levels, add an ability for users to add and manage articles on the front-end and set restrictions on different user groups.
