Theme installation

Post by mambotech » Sun Jan 24, 2010 12:51 pm

Hi All,

I am new to joomla and have installed the system which is working fine. I have found a free template that I have uploaded and installed and it is set to default. http://ees.systemcms.com but when I got to the admin panel and got to from page manager nothing appears in the list.

Please could someone tell me what I have missed...

Thanks Mark

did you load any sample data?
Don't HACK the Joomla! core, Instead "Extend" and/or "Override."
Stay ON the update path.

Hi,

When I carried out the initial install of joomla I did install the sample data. I have managed to work out how the template works from a menu function but I am unable to add a link from menu item to a page/article. I have followed the instruction on the joomla site but and I see the article link but I get a 404 when clicking on the link

Thanks Mark

Shut Off SEF Urls - save this for last.
